HAHA! ONLY THE BEST.

I had an amazing time floating paper lanterns up into the sky with the 2 most beautiful people in the world. Right off the roof of the carpark(opposite school)
Oh how we took forever to get them lighted up.
But it was magical as we finally set it off. it was the first for all of us.
A pity we hardly/didn’t get photos:(
Yet, the scene’s still perfectly etched into my brain. I love and miss my 2 girls, Anna and Joan, terribly.

And on this fine chilly day, I spent it with another lovely girl. We had our fair share of talks/complains and laughter. Caught an action movie this time around (yet still very much squeamish in our seats) in the theatres.
Got back to her place and had the most magical time watching Charlie and the chocolate factory while munching on fruits.
I couldn’t have asked for anything better. I love you Deb!

Thank you, girls :)

Sinking

Her even breathing. Sound asleep.
Today; eventful.
I pray the Lord takes away her worries. They should not matter. But it does. to her.
I wonder what we’ll dream of, tonight. Behind these tired minds and eyes.
Play.

Like father like daughter, they say

My dad once told me i am a very oldiez kind of kid. Actually, i dont quite agree except for the fact that i would clap to myself in the seat of a theatre when the movie ends. That’s what people use to do back then. They applaud when the credits rolled.
I wish we were all less self conscious to do this in this time and age.

He knows i love some classic hits because whenever it comes on the radio or plays in a mall, we’d hum or sing along, together. My dad isnt quite the music person, but some of them oldies are pretty darn sick tunes.

He’s a sentimental/nostalgic man, i must say. So am i. We love the architecture of buildings from the past and we cant bear to throw stuffs away that meant something, somewhen. The distaste for something too modern/futuristic.

But damn, i do wish i grew up in the good ol days where technology didnt take over, letters written just to communicate, cigarettes sold by per stick, iceballs by the streets and roads were brown with dust.

Dakota

Spent an evening with the bestfriend and his broz.
I couldn’t ask for a better friday.
Can’t believe a week went past since we were all at the airport, playing dont-step-on-the-black-tiles, having dinner and chilling all tgt.
How time flies.

Told him I was travelling to Thailand alone with my younger cousin at the end of the month,
He was wide-eyed and gave a stern “fuck you, you better be careful. Please take care”
that made me laugh as much as it made me smile inside.
The elder brother I never had, indeed.

Today, I felt truly blessed.

HAHA!

i love my friends. they say the darnest things :’)

Blast

Am missing dear Charlotte’s birthday party at the Ice skating rink on the 24th:( utterly gutted. Sigh. I hope I get to spend the friday with le little girl before I leave for a mini vacation.

Note to self: Need to start learning french to impress her. (Haha)

Seafood

The look on the boys’ faces when i put the whole sea snail (including the claw) into my mouth, and they went, “OEY! TAKE OUT THE CLAW!” in unison. Their expressions and hand gestures were priceless.

Everyone fed one another the flesh of a coconut.

To me, that was the highlight of the trip.

Last Night

with the brother. He’s flying off to NZ for 2 years:(
He’ll probably be back in November. Sigh.
Everyone’s leaving one by one. I wanna leave too. So badly right now.
I want to erase everything that has happened from when i was 10 till now.

Wouldnt life be easier.

But i digress..

The evening was spent with 8 cousins and a (soon to be)cousin in law, eating a bbq steamboat buffet. Just rubbish-ing as usual and teasing the waitor. (poor dude)

Helped the brother pack his luggage for tmr when we got home, filled with so much laughter from the family. Also, my cousin-in-law and mom are always squabbling, which is terribly hilarious cause they are such jokers.

Ooops, my niece just woke up. Must be our loud voices.

Till another night,
Goodbye Ryan!

Power rangers

Because Keith was wearing his usual power rangers tee at church today. He’s such a sweet little boy. And I’m so so glad I am able to connect with him. Playing ball and pretend fights. His imagination is brilliant, really. Everytime he speaks, I just wanna listen some more. He told me about monsters and how we are to defeat them. He grabbed my arm to pull me into our ‘training’ room so we can practice more to defeat the mother of all monsters(haha!)
I was yellow ranger and he was red. Minutes later, he told me he paid the bank $100 and now he was to be golden ranger. Hahaha. He asked me if I wanted to pay the bank too, to become a silver ranger. Oh the cuteness of kids.
I can’t wait for next Saturday now, because I’m gunna be a silver ranger and he, an infinity ranger.

I want to be a movie star

Not because of the fame and fortune (that’s just a plus)

Mostly, I just want to be part of an organisation like UNICEF and/or the UNHCR. To be part it is such a huge deal for me. Using fame and wealth, wisely. It’s such a blessing. Really

The Lady and her cat(s)

Everyone’s leaving. It’s terrible.
First, Aunt and 2 cousins to NZ.
Soon, thy brother will be joining them.

We’re moving out to a new apartment in 3 months time.
i will get a cat. Yes, it’s decided. I’m gunna get a job, feed my smelly cat well.
Love it like i never loved anyone else that much,
care for it like i should.
and prayfully, it would love me back the same.

All i will need is my cat. Even when i am old and grey.

i want this CAT. haha

Dad: Eh! so cuteeee (points at the set of Tom & Jerry packets of tissuez)
Me: Eeee, no way
Mom: Ya ya! Cute! put in the front of car
Dad: Yeah!
Me: Waste of money
Dad: What? Dont come asking for tissue when you sneeze
Me: i dont need to. i just stretch my hand behind and pull out a tissue from the tissue box behind my seat
Mom: Still got??
Me: Yeap!
Dad: But this one so cuteeeeeee
Me: (rolls eyes and helps him grab the tissue and place it in the trolley)

Dad: Maggie Mee (instant noodles) at home, finish right?
Mom: i think so?
Me: HAVE!!!
Dad: You sure?
Me: Yup! Must dig for it (Grin)
Dad: The most left 1 packet
Me: (immediately) 2.
Mom & Dad: Tsk. stoooopid. (Dad, smirks and walked to the instant noodles' shelf)
